Heritage Walk and Rickshaw Ride

About this tour: This is an exploration of Mysore’s stately buildings and bazaars, for an introduction to the very best of the city’s culture and heritage. We will see not only the royal buildings commissioned by the Wodeyars, but also British administrative buildings and the educational institutes that the city is famous for. We will walk through local markets, taking in the colour and bustle of vendors selling everything under the sun. We will also stop to taste some of the city’s famous delicacies.

Since the area covered by the tour is large, we will use a mix of walking and rickshaw during this tour. The initial parts of the tour are on foot. Later, we go on a local “tuk-tuk” for a wider exploration.
